About Lee

My name is Lee Huntley. My wife and family have owned a home in Highland Shores (HS) for about 5 years. It has become a place for our extended family to be together and will be used by our growing family for generations to come. My wife and I are in the HS community about 1/3 of our time across each year, with the other 2/3 divided between business and personal travel and a home in South Florida. I have prior experiences in HOA leadership as a Secretary and VP on our HOA in our private community in Florida and a brief experience here in HS. It would be an honor to serve each of you on the Board. My interest would be primarily in the Board Secretary position. I hold dear at least 3 goals for the future of HS: - To assist the board to help develop and keep superior first impressions and a safe environment for HS from the main entrance down to the lake. - To maximize the communication and networking between property owners, whether they are intending to build their dreams at HS (or) to eventually sell their investment property at an increased value. - To finish work I previously began to improve the 20 year old HS HOA governing documents, which have only been modestly addressed since, to maximize the protection of property owners' rights and board members' responsibilities with current AL legal language and flexible guidelines for the "best future" of Highland Shores.
